This painting developed over the years, starting with a pen-and-ink drawing done in the courtyard of the Trident Cafe in April, 2012. The Pen original is 11”X14”. Later, I made a larger painting from the drawing, reducing and modifying it until I was satisfied at this transition to oil. The finished painting measures 36”X24”.
